OSU Weatherford Hall Exterior Renovation
Owner: Oregon State University
Size: 95,000 sf
Location: Corvallis, OR
LEED: LEED Registered
Located on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis, Weatherford Hall is a landmark building that was originally constructed in 1928 as a residential hall for men. This project includes the exterior renovation of a historic building. Work includes mortar repair, steel lintel replacement, and cast stone repair and replacement. Weatherford was the longest continually operating dormitory in the Western United States until unsafe building conditions forced it to close. Howard S. Wright Construction Co. will renovate the brick and precast exterior of the 79,000 sf ornate Italianate building to its previous look and feel. This project is LEED Registered and our team is working to fulfill the LEED requirements for final Certification.
