The Jack London Square project consists of two sites:
Site C: Howard S. Wright Constructors performed pre-construction and construction services for this ground-up, 32,000 sf, 2-story, mixed-use building. We delivered the project as design-assist and design-build, which included budgeting and value engineering during the design phase. The building now features retail, restaurant, and office space.
Site F1: The second phase of this redevelopment involves a 6-story, 190,000 sf, mixed-use building, offering an open-atrium style marketplace below office space. As a structural steel building, Site F1’s foundation systems consist of piling, pile cap, grade beams, and a structural concrete slab. Steel construction reached the sixth floor in April, which was commemorated with a topping-off celebration. We are also providing the plaza site work, which includes palm trees, grass, and concrete. This project is scheduled for completion in spring of 2009. Site F1 is a LEED Registered project.
